Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
At Speculax, we prioritize your privacy. Because we operate purely as a Web3 decentralized application, our data collection practices are minimal and structurally designed to avoid holding personal data.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not require, collect, or store any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This means we do not ask for:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your physical address or location
- Financial information (bank accounts, credit cards)
2. Data We Process
To provide our services, we process the following public blockchain data:
- Wallet Addresses: Your public cryptographic address (e.g., via MetaMask or Phantom) is used to authenticate your session and associate you with your virtual trading accounts.
- On-Chain Activity: Smart contract interactions, account minting, virtual trades, and marketplace listings are recorded on the public Polygon blockchain. This data is publicly accessible by nature.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
We use minimal cookies and local storage exclusively for session management and security. Specifically, we use standard authentication tokens (JWT via Sign-In With Ethereum) to maintain your secure connection to the platform without needing a traditional username/password. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
4. Third-Party Services
Speculax interacts with third-party infrastructure (such as RPC nodes, Supabase for fast off-chain indexing, and Polymarket APIs for prediction data). These services only process your public wallet address and non-identifiable interaction data required to serve the platform's features.
5. Contact
As a decentralized platform, we operate via public smart contracts. If you have inquiries regarding this policy, please reach out through our official developer or community channels listed on the site.
